All-Team Community Giveback at BackPack Beginnings, February 2025Our team volunteered together at BackPack Beginnings to pack 250 Comfort BackPacks for children in Guilford, Forsyth, and Alamance Counties! These comfort BackPacks contain items such as blankets, stuffed animals, books, toys, socks, hygiene products, and school supplies for children in traumatic or refugee situations. |

Downtown Greensboro Holiday Parade, December 2024Team members brought cheer to all at the Downtown Greensboro Holiday Parade! We held the Macy’s-style Toy Soldier balloon down the parade route, showing off our community pride. |

Revity LIVE! Community Giveback, October 2024We challenged 16 Revity FCU Team Members to spend $20 in 1 hour to make an immediate impact in our community. Team members grouped themselves into teams of 4 and each tackled a different impact: $80 went to buy feminine hygiene products for the Family Service of the Piedmont, $80 went to buy non-perishable food for Greensboro Urban Ministry, $80 was donated to the United Way, and $80 was used to fill the gas tanks of 3 community members. Way to impact, team! |

All-Team Service Project at PDY&F Community Garden, October 2023Our whole team volunteered to help get PDY&F Community Garden ready for winter planting! Our team weeded beds, helped remove old wooden pallets, and helped lay new ground mesh on garden beds. |

Renaissance Shred Day, October 2023Revity FCU Team Members assisted members and community members with disposal of shredded documents in October 2023. They also raised money for PD&F Community Garden, and we matched it for a total donation of $238 to help the community garden! |

Renaissance Community Day, July 2022We joined Safer City of Northeast Greensboro for a Renaissance Community Day! Revity FCU Volunteers had a wheel of prizes to spin for, one of them being a Cash Cube where children had a chance to hop in and grab as much Revity FCU Cash as they could. We had a great time getting to meet more of our community members and spread some love! |

A Simple Gesture Food Giveaway and Community Workday, Spring 2022A Simple Gesture’s mission is to help end childhood hunger in Guilford County by making it easy to donate food to community organizations! We held a food drive in our branches in February 2022 and collected 150 lbs of food from members and staff. Many thanks to everyone who donated! We also participated in a community workday in conjunction with A Simple Gesture’s monthly donation drop off. Three team members helped process over 1,600 lbs of food for Guilford County families. |

NeighborWoods Community Tree Planting, Lake Daniel Park Greenway, November 2021NeighborWoods is an initiative of Greensboro Beautiful that provides an opportunity to plant native trees in our communities. In November 2021, Revity FCU volunteers planted fig trees to help repopulate the urban orchard. This is our second year participating in NeighborWoods! |

Renaissance Branch Shred Day, Phillips Avenue, October 2021In October 2021, we held a Shred Day at our Renaissance branch location. Revity FCU volunteers assisted with disposing of sensitive documents and collected donations to benefit Second Harvest Food Bank of Northwest NC. Our team raised $360 in donations, and we matched that for a total of $720 going to Second Harvest! Second Harvest Food Bank is located in the Renaissance Shops and provides food assistance to the community and so much more. |

Soabar Shred Day, Soabar Street, May 2022In May 2021, we held a Shred Day at our Soabar branch location. Revity FCU volunteers assisted with disposing of sensitive documents and collected donations to benefit United Way of Greater Greensboro. Our team raised $300 in donations, and we matched that for a total of $600 going to United Way! UWGG works to end local poverty as well as assists during natural disasters such as tornado relief. |

Greater Greensboro Senior Games, 2021-CurrentWe are long-time sponsors and volunteers with the Greater Greensboro Senior Games! These events promote healthy lifestyles by encouraging seniors to sign up and participate in events. Our volunteers assisted in registering, scorekeeping, and refereeing events such as track and field, basketball, cornhole, mini golf, croquet, and table tennis. |
